Who Can Become a Life Member?
Under Article 6 of the Constitution, Life Membership is open to:
- Any adult person, male or female
- Of sound mind and good character
- Who applies on the prescribed form
- Approved by the Council of Management
- Pays the prescribed Life Membership fee

No. Life Membership is a one-time payment of Rs. 2,000/-. Life Members are not required to pay any annual subscription.
Every Life Member can vote and contest elections. However, holding office is not automatic — only elected members serve on the 23-seat Council of Management (President, 4 Vice Presidents, Secretary General, 2 Joint Secretaries, Treasurer, and 14 Executive Members).
No. Life Members do not pay annual membership subscription. The Article 6-E(iii) clause about unpaid dues applies only to legally due amounts, not to a fresh annual fee.
Yes, but only under the procedures of Article 6-F of the Constitution — such as conduct detrimental to the Organization, non-payment of legally due amounts, or resignation. A 15-day notice and written explanation are required.
The Constitution does not mention special financial benefits. Any additional benefits must be approved separately by the Council of Management or General Body.
Yes. Under Article 6-D, applicants whose membership is rejected may apply again after a lapse of six months.
